Development environment for my new project

We have decided to use the following for the development work for Java Smart Cards related software on Linux and other Unix environments including Mac OSX:-

• Eclipse with the CDT plugin. This would works on all our target platforms.
  
• SCons instead of Make. We hope it will be helpful since we are planning to release the same software on Unix, Mac and Windows.
