 I
have included my first oil painting and a sample of the paintings
from the subsequent years. The images shown here will surely have
lost quite some amount of its image quality compared to the originals
due to a compromise made to make the image files smaller. But they
are still viewable. |

I enjoy pencil sketching, cartooning scribbling, etc, etc. I
also spend a lot of time experimenting with digital graphics tools.
This is one of my cartoon features which was published in the 1996
CET college magazine. It is mainly about some common events in and
around the Engineering college. |
 Some
of the home pages that I have designed. The aim was to design for
low bandwidths, typically 28.8 kbps modems and hence all pages including
the images are less than 50KB. This also reduces the amount of freedom
in implementing the design. |
| I like motion picture and animation a lot. See some of my experiments

|  Music
takes another slice of my time. I was interested in music from my
boyhood days. I was a member of the church choir and have sung solos
in many a public function and competitions. Unfortunately my laziness
got the better of me and I couldn't complete my guitar training.The
thrill and satisfaction you get from performing arts is quite unique
and addictive.
Here I had included a couple of Christmas
songs that I sang. Since it is my first try on sound recording
using computers, the file sizes were reduced drastically for easy
download (~50KB) compromising on the quality! (Download them first
and then listen) |
 Magic
is one of my favorite hobbies, especially parlour magic. It is an
extension of my interest in human thinking patterns. Illusions are
created mostly with words, looks and sleight. I have also developed
a few tricks with sleight of hand and card forcing. |

am also very much interested in Adventure games and RPG (Role Playing
Games). We used to create our own adventure games and play in groups
since computer games were not available.
My favorite computer games are "Fallout", "Baulder's
Gate 1 & 2", "Medieval", "Might & Magic",
"Ultima 7", "Diablo", "Sim City",
"Ceaser 3", "Dune", "Commandos",etc.
One of my recent hobbies is playing War games. We started playing
back in 1996 when we had to design the game and the terrain ourselves.
Nowadays we get computer simulations of almost all the historic
wars easily. My favorite war games are "Sid Meier's Gettysburg"
and "Steel Panthers 3".
I also play the non-computer war games like "D.B.A." and

I once played at a war gaming convention in Atlanta and it was a
great experience. |
| I am still an novice but I like this game a lot.. I am still trying
to learn from books and put in lots of practice. |
 Basketball
is my favorite outdoor game. I used to spend my evenings at the Medical
college court or the Engineering college indoor stadium whenever possible.
I made a lot of friends as well and participated in some state level
competitions. |
| I like to play card games like black jack in the casinos or at home. I have only played in a
few casinos in Las Vegas but I always like to go back. I am definitely not addicted to gambling.
But I do gamble whenever there is an opportunity. I have also tried reading books, practicing, etc.,
to improve my game. I am still not sure what pulls me to this hobby; the ambience or the money! |
| I love tasty food. I really love Central travancore (my native place)
food. I also love all kinds of sweets and desserts (No, I am not fat...
yet). |
